I was thinking about playing as a Tocharian character for a bit of a Indo-European survival in China feel. Unfortunately, it appears that Paradox has messed up the genetics of the Tocharians. The Tocharians were very light of skin, eyes, and hair by all accounts, and many Ughyur people show their features today. I'm not racist or anything, the inaccuracy just bothers me. If anyone could get around to fixing it, it'd be appreciated. Here's my citation for their appearance: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tocharians#/media/File:QizilDonors.jpg

The current Persian portraits do a fine job of portraying the physical characteristics of the Tocharians. The only way they wouldn't be matching is if you don't have the Persian portrait pack.

While some special content for the Tocharians would be nice, with things like events, decisions, etc. reflecting on their historical importance along the Silk Roads and their being the most ancient Indo-European branch available in the timeframe, anything relating to their appearance would be a clothing pack at best.

Even the holding graphics are fairly accurate.

I agree. The Tocharians are however but one of the ethnic groups that haven't been fully developed (in aesthetic and immersive terms) within the game. The West Africans, Ethiopians, Slavic, Baltic and Finnish Culture groups are in dire need of revamping. When I play characters within those culture groups, I cannot help but feel as if my game were overtly generic and lacking in appeal. But in regard to your own topic, I do agree that the Tarim Basin (as with much of Central Asia, the Baltics and the Sahel/Abyssinia) are in dire need of development.
