CK2 to EU4 Conversion to 1.25.1?

I'm trying to do a mega campaign from CK2-HOI4 but the EU4 to VIC2 can only convert 1.25.1 EU4 save games. I have the DLC, is there any way to convert to 1.25?

Wouldn't you just have to find the CK2 patch that was active during 1.25 EU4?

Or put EU4 on patch 1.25.

Not sure if any of this works though, I'd like to know what works too.

If you open the export's .mod file, you can change the allowed version to 1.25.* so it will be happy with any version. As to whether it's actually suitable, you may have to just load it up and try, maybe tinker with the files. At that point you're working on an EUIV mod though, so if you encounter problems with the tinkering I'd recommend the EUIV wiki and modding forum.

Thank you I'll try that now. Is the the .mod in CK2 or EU4

Could you post the error log? (Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\logs\error.log)
