Just thought i'd share this one, as its a scenario i've never quite had happen before and its fairly amusing.

Booted the game up after a good eight months break and I'm playing in the earliest start date as Oysteinn Yngling. Oysteinn had a brother Gudrodir, for a little while he was a fine and loyal chancellor with a intelligent and attractive wife, in five years he had three boys and two girls whilst Oysteinn and his concubines had produced no children. Perhaps inspired by the gods Oysteinn did what any smart chieftain would do and seduced his brother's wife (random event I swear). Fast forward some decades and my acquisition of the mountaious petty kingdom of Oppland the brothers are now rivals and both in their late fifties. Though never discovering his wifes adultery (and subsequent clutch of children passed off as his) he did plot to kill his brother and got banished for it, though in his later years he was able to return to the petty kingdom beacuse his wife was still spymaster and his brother such a benevolent and just ruler. Oysteinn's attractive foxy high pedigree saxon wife schemed to kill my spymistress/brothers wife and naturally, keen to indulge his young wife, Oysteinn naturally joined the plot but was still heartbroken at his lover's death. Visiting her grave he is confronted by his brother, whom , realising the decades of deceit and cuckoldery by his hated rival screams madly. A holmgang ensues and.....both brothers die in an old decrepid rocky moment :D
