CK2 simply the best ?

I don't know how to compare games from different genres like Mirrors Edge, Thief or Max Payne to a grand-strategy game like CK2, but I'm 100% sure that I enjoyed CK more than Civilization titles and also hardcore-micro-management real-time strategy games.

I also wouldn't know how to compare CK2 to Super Mario Land for the Gameboy after all...
Either way, CK2 is definitely my favourite right now, I rarely play something else when addicted to a CK save game

The top three games ever made are:

1) Baldur's Gate 2
2) Thief 2
3) Crusader Kings 2

Then there is a big gap and a lot of games that are of similar quality.

Since posting lists is the cool thing to do, here's mine based on how long they've lasted for me and how often I go back to them:

1. Fallout New Vegas
2. Oblivion and/or Skyrim (I honestly can't make up my mind, story wise, it's Oblivion, but for sheer replayability, it's Skyrim)
3. Civil War Generals 2
4. Crusader Kings 2
5. Hearts of Iron 2 (Arsenal of Democracy variant)
6. Civilization 4
7. Galactic Civilizations 2
8. Day Z mod for ARMA 2
9. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
10. World of Warcraft (Even though I stopped playing about a year ago, I still dedicated more of my life to this game than I'd care to admit)
