My CD key for CK2 is Hearts of Iron 3. I do not understand why, but I don't have HOI3. Is this a bug or something?

Please include all the details you can, including what the CD Key was that you registered, where you bought CK2 and if it is on steam or not.

I believe there is a but in the new key registration system. When entering your key you either get a list of 5 games to choose from---always the same 5 and two of them are mac versions---or a list of ~12 games of which most are CKII DLC---again always the same games. You cannot choose any other game and since you cannot register your game without choosing the right game you cannot register. I have ~7 keys I cannot register at the moment due to that. I am waiting a few days to see if the bug gets fixed and otherwise I will log a ticket.
FYI, several CK2 keys were sent out with the HOI3 prefix and they work fine. Buried deep down in the bowels of this particular forum, BjornB replied to the issue a long long looooong time ago.
The problem is that he ended up getting a HOI3 registration, as you can see under his name here.
