Boom! Didn't think I'd manage this one. Started as the Duke of Normandy to form Britannia by Oct.17 1075, but I had to resort to some gamey tricks to get there. As the range of Holy Wars has been much reduced since 1.092, getting 200+400 piety to form your second kingdom and the empire itself is a chore. I circumvented this by gifting land to my clergy and when I ran out (of land) I banished Harold II and other prisoners from an earlier faction rebellion.

I didn't. I invited claimants from Wales and Ireland, created their duchies and further pressed dejure claims. Initially I had just one foothold in Ireland, but every pressed claim seemed to open two others. Perhaps my Holy War comment was confusing. I meant that I could not use the hw cb to quickly get 600 piety.
Money wasn't much of an issue as the Duke of Normandy starts with like 1k gold. In fact, you come out of the Norman Conquest with 40+ lands (counties, baronies, etc) to give away and up to 8k troops, depending on how careful you've been.

I believe I've made a record. The Kingdom of Khwarizm isn't on the first post right now though. Started off as the Duke of Khwarizm, just below Cumania. Tyumen and Aktobe were in an Independence faction, started by Tyumen which declared war on Cumania in 1069, right away I took Aktobe, which had troops in Tyumen, being killed by Cumania.

Once I took the land I went on Hajijj for piety, the holy war added a lot of piety too. Then it was just sitting around waiting for the money to create the Kingdom, taxed the cities a bit more to make things go faster, my steward was trying to collect taxes but didn't succeed. If he had, I could have become king sooner.

Once Cumania is playable, this record will be easily beaten.

And here's another one that was unclaimed: Starting as the Emirate of Ghana forming Mali by Nov.2.1072. Not highly exciting, the only challenge being getting enough cash for the second duchy and the kingdom itself (ie. banishment)

According to some records, I guess I need to add something. About Wallachia and Alania, which appear here, I didn't create it as unknown ruler They were created by descendants of Count of Prusa. Their family head was custom created count of Nikea / Prusa (this count starts with 2 provinces as vassal of Nikea). With him I menaged to create Kingdom of Taurica first.

Count of Nikea -> Despot Martinos I of Taurica - 17.02.1097

His son menaged to get Bulgarian Crown

Despot Nikephoros I of Taurica - 15.05.1131 (Bulgaria) - I created it much faster as count in Turnovo, but guess I deleted save... ;/

Their descendants menaged to get few other crowns, Alania and Wallachia which are in records, and additionals like Armenia
Despot Martinos II of Taurica - 02.02.1175 (Wallachia)
Despot Adamos I of Taurica - 04.05.1223 (Alania)
Basileus Martinos I - 19.04.1260 (Armenia)

And now something different. My actual game, as count of Gwent (historical character). With this ruler, I get Kingdom of Wales

Count of Gwent -> King of Wales Caradog I - 06.07.1081

His descendants had to expand in Hispania, due to the fact that English Crown was taken by HRE with Udonen family. In 21.01.1167 I created Empire of Hispania. Someone else got record, but I still got something new On the same date I created Sultanate of Andalusia.

Not my Britannia record! The horror! But I did mine with Godwin which probably wasn't the most optimal anyways.

I must compensate for this loss by posting another record, unfortunately, I must strike at Jon Stryker's record. I haven't had much time to play and with the coming DLC, I've been content at being a vassal and kissing up to my various lords...and then I got really bored...

All that stewardship and he had only 1 county I think. But then my son somehow become Byzantine Emperor because he had married Zoe for the prestige. Wasn't sure I liked that outcome and haven't played a game since.

The problem here is that you used the ruler designer. It's stated in the OP that titles must be created without that. I think I only accepted it the first time because there was no existing record.
I'll leave it there but I won't accept your records for Taurica and Bulgaria. Sorry, mate.

Nooooooo! Stupid abusable ambitions. I achieved mine with centuries of power-breeding and was pretty proud of it :glare:

Try to get back your Britannia record, the path is pretty much layed out:
- Use 1.091 to be able to holy war (still allowed as of the OP)
- Holy war some weak Pagan county to get piety and holdings to give to claimants
- Declare claim wars on Munster, Oriel, Tyrone, Deheubarth and Gwynedd (4 claimants)
- Take England (not necessary if you started after the conquest (!))
- Create Duchies, take de jure, create Ireland
- Press claim on Cumberland
- Kill the duke of Lothian
- You now have 54 counties (=80%) and can found the empire

If all wars (except the one on Scotland) are declared at once it is possible to improve that record

For the record, my genius son had already beaten your record once he had reached maturity but I was not satisfied with just that. I wanted to get the max stewardship! and I wasn't far off. I do find the ambitions stupid. If you are content to remain a vassal, you can pump up your best stat infinitely if you can tolerate the tediousness of the whole process. I guess that's the advantage of not making yourself king.

I'll have to claim Britannia for Godwin once more!

Bested the Scandinavia record this time, though just by a few years: Sep.16 1113. Started as the king of Norway and retreated my troops from Britain to take bites out of Sweden early on. I was fortunate that it was rocked twice by the pagan duke's uprising, allowing me to holy war intervene.

I tried the Francia record but sadly it had too many things to juggle at the same time; stealing a number of counties from the HRE and forming a kingdom outside of Francia (I went for England).

Going through my saved games I found a time for the unclaimed Anatolia record: Jan.27 1090 and an improvement on the Syria record: May.18 1090.
I hope I'm reading it right! In any case, this was from my Roman Empire record so the aim wasn't to create these in record time.

Edit(2): Jon, Bulgaria is twice in the list now (blank and claimed).

It doesn't affect game much, but ok, Your decision (I started as count, that for sure harder than starting as king or Emperor). To be honest, these aren't serious challenge But doesn't matter - I still put 2 more records, for Wales and Andalusia - as I wrote, starting with historical character - You got them above. And another empire record . I must say this thread has blown new life into the game for me. Started as the Duke of Normandy; took England, invited claimants to Brittany and Savoy (the latter of which rebelled against the HRE), and lastly plotted to overthrow the king of France. Dec.25 1079
