Whether I open the game from Steam or from CK2game.exe, the first thing to pop up after the cursor spins is the above message. The game has worked on this machine before, but I've flashed the BIOS since my last play (required fix for AMD FX4100 CPU issue) so I wouldn't get BSODs with other games. Specs below:
CPU: AMD FX4100 quad
OS: Win 7 ultimate 64 bit
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
MoBo: MSI 890GXM-G65
GPU software has confirmed latest drivers installed.
BIOS was updated from the 2011 release to the 2012 release (most current).
Re-installing the game through Steam does not resolve this issue (in the last hour).
If anyone has the time and inclination to help puzzle this out, I'd be most appreciative.
