If we can also get a EU4 -> Victoria 2 converter that would be awesome.
EU4 --> V2 would definitely make for the better game, but there would be no way to accuately convert POPs. EU4 only tracks one culture and one religion per province.

I am pretty sure the Inca are not conquered by them: Incas inventing gunpowder is what weakened the Aztecs in CK2
Hellenic religion will most likely not be supported by the exporter ^_^; (as it is not supported by CK2 either)

So lets hope the team will include a system with more then one culture or religion in one province.
You can select it in the ruler designer, so I certainly hope it will be supported.
I don't mind if it's as unsupported as it is in Ck2, I.E, generic religion.

As for the Nyrael, they bothered making it fully playable. I.E, holy sites, and religious settings, etc.
Just because it isn't on the map in the start, doesn't mean it's bad.
They randomly gave it the sites and settings (without even any attempts to balance them) as it is ridiculously easy to do. It has nothing to do with not being on the map at start either: the religion was simply thrown there without attempts to balance it, make it interesting, etc. And as I said, I am sure I remember THEM saying the religion is not supposed to be playable not will be given anything of worth. I repeat: thats not my opinion. Thats simple how it is: hellenism ain't supported by CK2 (yet?).
For the converter this is quite a major thing as for every of those Pagan religions you need to make a bunch of new features and events (and test&balance all of those) for all of those (do I need to mention that all costs money?). If Hellenism didn't get such treatment in CK2, it sure as hell won't in EU4 either. So don't get your hopes up for seeing your Hellenic empire work properly in EU4... or work at all.
You can end earlier or start later; games don't HAVE to run/start at certain datesI'm wondering how a CK2 -> EU4 Converter would work, CK2 ends in 1453, but EU4 starts in 1444. Do the dates not matter when you convert the save?

In EUIV, you could start colonizing places in Africa that you couldn't yet at the beginning of Vicky II. That's something that never made sense for me. I don't think this conversion works or I think it'll be too hard for them but I still welcome it. They also need to close the gap between the games.

But CK to EU, not only makes sense but I think it'll be relatively easier to make. I will be disappointed if the converter isn't one of EU's pre-ordered converters.
Considering it is called "CK2 exporter" i doubt it will be used for anything other than save game exporting. I just wonder how usable it will be (there was a save game exporter for one of the earlier games before the clausewitz engine. I'm not sure wich one but im pretty sure it didn't work that well)
What about religions? Will my Norse faith becomes Shamanist?

Am I the only one thinks that CK2 Exporter is a silly idea?
Look how Europe looks when you finish the game.
It's completely destroyed by big blobs or conquered by Player Empire, or both. It's semi-random mess.
We have Pisa in Africa and England in Sweden. We have catholic Mongols in Russia.
Is this really how you want to start your Europa Universalis?![]()
