We need Rome2 for that. Or another expansion for CK2.You still need a game that depicts late antiquity though.

I hope this is true!!!
Imagine:
Rome->CK2->EU4->V2->HOI3->...
There actually is a savegame exporter for CK2 to EU3 up in the CK2 user modifications subforum that does everything except sliders (which they do have the formulas down for I think but just aren't implemented or something) and wars atm, though it's currently for 1.092 of CK2.Considering it is called "CK2 exporter" i doubt it will be used for anything other than save game exporting. I just wonder how usable it will be (there was a save game exporter for one of the earlier games before the clausewitz engine. I'm not sure wich one but im pretty sure it didn't work that well)
When you start at 867, you already have 600 years of gameplay. ...I meant that AI controlled countries first conquer half of the world and then collapse, leaving one big mess...
Yeah, though I suppose they could have a converter module like the current one has. Anyhow, since titles are not specifically attached to cultures or other titles in a lot of senses, I was musing in the What Nation Will You Play thread. I have an empire of Francia ruled by an Occitan man whose ancestor that formed the empire was a Frankish man whose primary title was the King of Burgundy and whose spouse and child were both Breton... What nation's or group's ideas ought I to have?The main thing is that they account for all the weird possibilities. For instance, there'll have to be a Zoroastrian religion, and preferably one for each of the TOG official religions (I wouldn't expect Hellenic, but everything else can survive and flourish, and probably shouldn't be just "animist" to avoid the problems this caused in EUIII) which wouldn't be in the real startdate. Some heresies should be considered as well, and definitely Miaphysite (though that should be in the base game). As well, what about Sunset Invasion imports? A SI import ought to have Westernised North American natives, which would be fun in and of itself.
Plus, there's the more mundane things like if there's three independant Muslim nations in Iberia, it shouldn't just make them into one "Granada". There presumably can't be a one-to-one ratio for tags given there uncountable numbers of them in CKII (not just every county, but religious heads, revolted mercenary fiefdoms, notable cultures like the Khazars, Abbasids and so forth). It'll also be curious to see how it represents the "other half" of the Mongol invasions that aren't on the CKII map. It'll be a bit disappointing if they all just show up in the standard provinces outside the CKII boundries regardless of whether they took over most of Europe or got ignonimously crushed. Other countries like the Seljuks should also be considered as to where their outside-the-map boundries should be.
It'd be a lot of work to do it well, but it'll be very neat if it actually does work.
If we can also get a EU4 -> Victoria 2 converter that would be awesome.
I wonder what a world where the Aztecs invaded Europe would look like.
The Aztec would have to be a pretty big blob considering they conquered the plains and Inca.
I'd love having my Hellenic Roman Empire spar with that on a world sized map.
