CK2->EU4 converter: What's missing

Does anyone have a list of all the titles that have a EU4 equivalent that get don't get properly converted? I know the issue is already on the list but it would be good to have a reference of the specifics.

d_lombardia and d_swiss do not convert to Milan or Switzerland respectively either. Better add those to the list.

Edit - c_pfalz and c_leinningen should probably convert to The Palatinate and Ansbach as well.

To avoid a second edit: c_Kleve > Cleves; c_julich > Aachen; c_altmark > Magdeburg.

One thing which happened before Charlemagne was released.

Sunni Ilkhanate didn't transfer over to EU4, it was a load of mongol colonizable regions instead. (mostly Persia)

I must say I'm not a huge fan of converting titles to tags with a totally different name, unless they're clearly the same thing. Though vanilla does it with Venaissin -> Avignon.

I can understand that, yet that only knocks off a few of the above examples. (Leinningen, Julich, and Altmark.) The rest are pretty much the same. Lombardia's capital is Milan, and had the same dynasty as its EU conversion. Swiss is fairly obvious, except of course its not a de-jure title. I see you already had Cleves on your list, so my mistake there. Finally Palatinate includes the Pfalz province in EU, and plus nothing else could really convert to Palatinate otherwise, so its probably the biggest remaining stretch once you discount the first three mentioned above. But these are just suggestions of course. Not by any means trying to beg or anything.

I am not sure if such bug/mssing features are in scope of the list, but I think that they are worth including.

1. On Linux the localization files are still generated in encoding different that UTF-8 and causing the countries to be named Z01 and so on.
2. The date in CK2 is not taken into consideration during conversion, at is always set to 1444.11.11. This problem has a very simple solution: create a simple bookmark file with the date set to max(1444.11.11, ck2_date). I personally use following for my latest playtrought:

I choosed name "End of medival" and decrption saying that this is shape of the world at conversion point. For the country selection I would propose:
1. played nation
2. aztec/inca if Sunset Invasion is enabled
3. 5 countries with highest ruler prestige but other than player nation and aztec/inca

Though you can have it as Avignon if you give the bishop of Avignon the county.

Because all the Irish titles are now localized in CK2 an Irish ruler can no longer properly convert to any of the Irish TAGS.

The current list is pre-AoW. I have to wait for Paradox making the converter compatible with AoW before I can update this list in any way.

So, I just tested the converter with the newest beta patch. Removed some issues, added some new ones; some just had to be rewritten. The Iranian culture group is even more broken now.

The former issue is somewhat murky, as every renamed country - becaus of different culture, through the customizer DLC, etc - is converted as a new TAG, so I'm not sure if that's WAD or not. I added the latter to #5.

All of the history/diplomacy files are blanked. This is normally a very good thing however this also includes areas outside of the CK2 area. This means that Japan will start entirely independent rather than as vassals to the shogunate.

AoW actually added Afghan culture. So afghan should convert to afghani.

golden horde has notechgroup in my observe game... whats the reason for that?

EDIT: the converter is converting nomad techs wrong. youve change in countries folder in the golden horde .txt nomad to nomad_group
