When will CK2 do as the Eastern Roman Empire did and adopt a translation into Greek, the properly imperial language?

Greek has been widely used in the eastern part of Roman Empire long before it got split. Heck, the New Testament was originally written in Greek, not Latin. This better be a Rome 2 teaser
>stopped being a proper empire
>greek became official language
the aqueduct, security, hygieneBut what have the Romans ever done for us?
Classical Latin is horrible to write, putting a space between words wasn’t invented until the Carolingian era, not to mention minuscule! The most common phrases are routinely shortened to just the first letters, e.g. SPQR.
So I also agree, modern Latin is superior, totes FTW.
Ok, ha! Now then, since you guys had some extra time on your hands, I am sure you have a real dev diary for today, right?![]()
All sorts of vile barbarian tongues are spoken by the uncouth subjects of the Republic. So was Aramaic used widely in the East, and weren't the gospels, core of the New Testament, written in Aramaic first? I don't know though, I'm no expert. Either way doesn't make Greek an imperial language.Greek has been widely used in the eastern part of Roman Empire long before it got split. Nuntii Latini is pretty famous among Latin-speaking looneys (such as myself), but honestly, the pronunciation is systematically off - C is always velar, but AE and OE are pronounced as /e/!? I do find the evident Finnish accent of the speaker (heard mostly in the A and I sounds) to be quite strangely appealing, though.Bit unrelated but Finnish Broadcasting Company has weekly news in Latin. You might need to change your IP-address to show you are in Finland though (not sure if you can listen it anywhere in the world) if one wishes to get important news in proper language
(New York times also wrote about them)
You can listen to it without problems here in Sweden at least. You might need to change your IP-address to show you are in Finland though (not sure if you can listen it anywhere in the world) if one wishes to get important news in proper language
