Pagan stuff is patch, although you will need Old Gods to play Pagans of course.
any hints as to what pagan stuff got added? I have posted a number of ideas of paganism on the forum, that I am happy if you took advantage of

@Darkrenown indicated that it would have more stuff for non-norse.Odds are it's all for Germanic pagans, unfortunately.
Evem of we assume that the eulogy was written by the same church people who benefittet from the building of said cathedrals?I hope it won't declare Seduction characters and very immoral characters (kinslayers, murderers, serial fornicators, etc.) to be pious and right with God or their gods. That'd tick me off, personally. Tying one's eulogy solely to Piety points means that late-game characters, wtih large cathedrals in their Church Holdings, would always be seen as holy, even when they are downright evil.
Evem of we assume that the eulogy was written by the same church people who benefittet from the building of said cathedrals?Seems pretty realistict to me, an official euology and how a person is remembered are oftem much different to what someone really close could say about the deceased...
Known acts of evil and kinslaying? You mean like Empress Irene?I'm talking about known acts of evil, like kinslaying and such. What I meant was that previous late game rulers built big-A cathedrals and the new ruler got a positive one, or more, Piety boost for doing nothing but breathing. It'd be an inaccurate depiction of his piety because his score would always be high.

If he was true christian knight murdering was his job.True Christian Knight modifier should probably get a pass for many crimes, but not, say, murder
Just to be clear; I fullheartedly agree that the more nuanced the eulogy algorithm the better, absolutely!I'm arguing that high Piety should not be the main or sole thing that calculates the eulogy. For example, a character with the True Christian Knight modifier should probably get a pass for many crimes, but not, say, murder or Seduction, given that those are two of the biggest, behind Kinslayer.
As to Irene, that, unfortunately, is not in my area of historical expertise, but Google is my friend. It says here she executed her own son and gouged his eyes out because he rebelled. I agree the eye removal was overkill, but is it really suitable to call it murder if he tried to rebel and kill her first? That sounds fully justified to me.
Sadly not. Pagan stuff is patch100% next Dec is about Scandinavia
@Darkrenown indicated that it would have more stuff for non-norse.
but to get a confirmation.
@Darkrenown will there be more stuff for non-norse pagans.
Economy overhaul?Next week I'll tell you about the new Prosperity system.

If we assume Piety to be perceived piety of the character, maybe some immoral actions should incur harsher Piety penalties than they do, so becoming a PArtagon of Virtue would require Irene to seriously root out Iconoclasm to make up for the whole kinslaying and blinding thing?
