CK2 Crash+Unfixable Flags

My CK2 game keeps crashing. When I start the game up there are no loading screens, just black and the 'busy' symbol appears as my mouse. All I can do is wait for it to eventually load the game, as even pressing one button causes it crash for no reason. Here comes the second problem: Sometimes only certain flags are messed up and others all of them are. I only have DLC's activated and done everything to fix the flag problem to no avail.

Anyone having this same problem, if so how do I fix? I think the Charlemagne patch broke CK2

Edit: I've also uninstalled CK2 completely, reinstalled it. It worked the first time I booted up the game('cept it froze when processing flags, thus causing flag issues.)

Please try a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

If and only if that doesn't help: post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the end of the "Sound devices" section for brevity) and your Documents/CK2/settings.txt. From your Documents/Paradox/CK2/logs/ directory, post system.log . Open setup.log in notepad and search for 'checksum', post that line only here too please.
