CK2 Cd Key

This may sound stupid but I'm trying to register CK2 to my account so I can access the part of the forum that is locked out. I can't find the CD code anywhere to put in for this. Where will I find it? I purchased it through steam. When I right click on EUIV, HOI3 the view CD key comes up. But this does not show up on the list of options when I right click on CK2.

Likely because it's free for the weekend you can't access it at this time. Once that passes you should be able to access it once again.

I have been going nuts for hours over this. Maybe I should have checked this part of the forum. Although I did buy the whole collection. I assume that it's all the same?

Is that affecting other games too? I bought really many games yesterday, ~21 icons, and only two of the CD keys could show; some of the games have the show CD key button, but pressing it never shows a key. It only says 'Requesting key...'. For most of the games the button is absent though. I was about to start a thread about it, since it is really annoying, but if other games also have disabled their keys over the weekend I will wait.

Hey I also just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why my CD Key is missing - had no idea Free Weekend is to blame.

It seems like it was a really, really, bad idea to make CK II free-to-play this weekend. It seems to be causing a lot of issues for paying customers

If you own a copy of the game you can log a support ticket at Paradox.zendesk.com
The support guys are very quick.

It not about handing out keys! It also happened if you owned the game before the weekend and just got the stupid idea to register your game to try out some mods. They just removed the button to show the key. But yeah steam+drm... it's all so nice and handy!

It says Oct 2 to Oct 6 in the banner above. I'd assume those dates are inclusive, and as Oct 6 is Monday I imagine they will come back either Monday evening or Tuesday at the latest.

The button probably haven't come back after the free to play weekend; I at least don't have it at the moment. I might be a bad example though, since I am missing either keys or CD key buttons for ~19 icons, so it might just be my account that is fucked up.
