Not sure this is a bug but I think I found something wrong with the Faction system. I'm playing a count from Vermandois and I'm trying to take over Vexin and Amiens which have been split up because of gavelkind. Currently, a court faction revolt has made a duke from Burgundy the new King of France. The new king isn't very popular and so another faction revolt by the "install prince Robert(current king's second son) as the new king of France" faction occured by the duke of Anjou. At the start of this revolt Vexin and Amiens wasn't in it until the duke of Anjou asked them and me to join their revolt. I refused but the counts of Vexin and Amiens accepted and SOMEHOW the duke of Anjou become their new liege! I thought this was temporary so I waited until this revolt ended (they lost) and they still are not independant counts. I would also like to note that Vexin and Amiens were BOTH independant (only their king was their vassal) and have NO relations with the duke of Anjou. Now it is much more difficult to conquer them. This is the earliest save file I have of the situation. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a save that started before the revolt so I hope this one is good enough.

I can confirm this. Possibly an issue with immortal trait assigned from Character Creator not working properly. There was supposed to be a fix in the last CK2+ patch but it did not work it seems.

PS: Big bug, the MTTH modifiers for positive battle events are wrong, positive traits like Strong, Brave, and Genius give penalties while negaitve traits give bonuses to getting these events.

Noticed these as well. My Immortal character is dying of old age and it makes me sadface.

He didn't get old or infirm or anything, just up and died one day.

I have run across something that looks like a bug. Possibly a vanilla or CKplus one.

Playing a CKplus game, I am the King of Castille at this point. Took an ambition of 'wants love/passion'. Ended up in an affair with a courtier. She becomes pregnant (of course). Shortly after the affair was consumated, my wife dies of illness. My king decides to marry his new love, as she's the daughter of a mayor and grand-daughter of a count. Everything proceeds smoothly, until the child is born. The child ends up being of her lineage, with no pop up about bastardy, and no ability to legitimize him. He's still shown as half brother to his siblings.

It's not going to seriously effect the game, but it was a noticeable glitch.

There's a few weird things that can happen to do with wives dying or and re-marrying, etc. such as getting a relations hit with a dead guy after you married his former wife who was already pregnant.

Oh hey posting here reminded me that the event which can happen for an ambitious character where you teach another member of the court to be ambitious appears to be broken; the ambitious character seems to be the one getting the chance to gain the ambitious trait, rather than the intended target.

anyone else getting liege shifts when an independant count joins a faction rebellion after they first start? I had two counts with the king as liege suddenly have the faction leader as their liege even after the war.

I made an earlier post on this thread page about my situation. Basically to try and recreate this play as the count of Vermandois in 1066 and wait until a faction revolt gives the king title to somebody else (mine was Duke of Burgundy for the Court Faction, also it was the first faction revolt in my game). Then wait until another faction revolt to overthrow the new king (mine was Duke of Anjou) occurs. That duke will hopefully ask you and a bunch of others to help fight for him (I declined) which will cause the liege bug. Also note, in my game I didn't see any message popups about any liege transfering.

I think that has to do with how vassal transfers with usurped titles work, I doubt there's anything I can do to fix it.

I had a strange bug concerning title revokation with Absolute Crown Authority. After I passed the ACA law it worked fine until I did a save / quit / reload. Revoking titles after that gave me the opinion and prestige penalties that ACA was supposed to prevent.

ACA no longer allows free revocation in the latest versions because it's unfixably bugged.

Not exactly a gamebreaker, but pretty strange and an exploit. Playing as the count of Reggio in the 1066 scenario, no submods. My brother Robert, my liege, died and his eldest son succeeds - my nephew. I have no sons, so my eldest daughter is bound to inherit. Now my nephew, my liege, the duke of Calabria and Apulia, asks me for my permission to matrilineary marry my eldest daughter. So their son, my grandson, will one day inherit both my counties and his father's duchies. I mean, a young, attractive lord over two duchies asks his uncle to matrilineary marry his cousin? That cannot be the way it should work! Nothing fancy, I could easily have refused, but the idea was too hilarious...

On a related note: I had four of the six counties needed to form the duchy of Sicily, but I cannot form it. None of the two remaining islamic rulers have it, neither has my liege. Does it have to do with the fact that I would elevate myself to the same tier as my liege lord?

I have no control over how the AI does marriages, but if they are the same dynasty matrilineally or not does not matter.
