This is fixed in 1.3.0.
But playing on the newest version with a save from an earlier version seem to cause a lot of problems at the moment.

Greetings @ChrisVicious!

First of all - thank you for the cat picture, it's incredibly lovely and it's what I needed to carry me through the day!

Second of all - our friend @Mcgan is correct - I've tried reproducing this issue locally and was unable to reproduce it on 1.3.0 version of the game. Make sure that the person you are converting to witchcraft and wizardry is indeed of your religion - if they are of the previous religion where witchcraft is not accepted, they may still want to keep it under wraps.

Hope this helps!

I started a game last week when it was free to play, so I am on a different version now. I have had the first encounter with the witch and now that she is in my court I can expect, according to my online research, a second event to actually become a witch. The same research shows that after that convincing someone to become a witch is a hostile scheme. My issue is that, even though I am not yet a witch, I can attempt to convert just about everyone with 95% chance of success (including the pope) as a personal scheme, (but not my zealous son, my spymaster). Is that normal behavior, or should I just start a new game?
