Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
when republic ruler/ theocracy ruler die,successor do not inherit any ongoing war. It may make sense if it is a offensive war, but it make no sense if it is a claim from another ruler.
Also it will be even stranger if the republic / theocracy ruler die in the fight when leading the defending army. The defender lost, leader dead, and war resolved because leader dead????

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
when republic ruler/ theocracy ruler die,successor do not inherit any ongoing war.
