Short summary of your issue UI and AI issues when defending a Great Holy War and you have a vassal in your realm participating as attackers
Game Version 1.1
What OS are you playing on?
Windows
What platform are you using?
Steam
Do you have mods enabled? No
Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
Yes
How much "pain" is this causing you?
7
Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Defending the attached Great Holy war, the Count of Rethel is my vassal in the target Kingdom but is also an attacker. Early in the conflict, I had a ticking war score, but at some point the score for holding the war goal disappeared. The AI seems unable to "know" that we need to siege this holding to win the war. And the UI makes it difficult to discern. (I believe these are related because if the game isn't showing it to me, it probably isn't showing it to the AI either.)
The AI aside, the UI should tell me under "War score from held objectives" what I need to do to get it to tick. And the red and blue boarders need to make it more obvious that this holding is an issue. I see now that the flaming banner is supposed to tell me this person is hostile. But I spent years of game time trying to figure out why I was unable to get the war score to tick. The tool tips could be greatly improved for this situation.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
This save file should be enough. But if you create a great holy war in a separate save, and have vassals of the defending kingdom join the attackers, the AI and UI should have similar issues.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
It should be apparent when you open the save file.
I have attached a save game
Yes
