Game Version cant get to menu soooo whatever is currently on steam

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

Do you have mods enabled? No

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?

See above, game will not load at all. stalls at Steam preparing to launch game popup

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Try to start game

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I have: updated Graphics drivers, Updated Windows, Uninstalled game, cleared local files, reinstalled, Validated game files. with no errors showing I have no crash reports as it never launches game.

OKAY. I copied the CK3 exe shortcut to desktop and then had it Run as admin and game is currently running
 
Hi, and thanks for your report!
Happy that you managed to find a workaround.

Could you restart steam as administrator and see if that works? It sounds to me like the launcher is not being allowed to run.
