Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
After the 1.2 update every time I hit "play" or "resume" for CK3 it immediately crashes, and I have the window pop up for paradox bug report, which tells me it crashed. If I try again right after this no crash occurs, but the loading screen never appears, even after waiting 5 minutes. However, steam still thinks the game is running and I have to shut it off with task manager to be able to try to start it again. Also, on the top left of the launcher it says something went from when updating the launcher, that may be the problem but I don't know how to fix it.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
All I do is hit start on Steam and try to hit play/ resume on the launcher.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
All I have done was update it Friday night at like 12:00 and I haven't been able to past the launcher since. (Also, I'm not very good with computer files so if you need anything lmk how to do it and I can get you whatever you may need)

Thank you for the report! Unfortunately, the issue does not reproduce on our end. Can you provide us with more information? Have you tried reinstalling the game?
You've said that there was a message saying that launcher update failed, could you provide a screenshot of that if possible?
Also, we could use the crash report folder of the related session to properly investigate the issue. Please attach the zipped CTD folder here, if possible.
CTD folders can usually be found at: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes
