Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When romancing a character there is a chance an event will fire where you will encounter a competing suitor. One option to get rid of them is via a duel. This duel does not use the new duelling system which seems to be an oversight, it is just a 1 click of the button and rng decides the outcome with just a notification at the top of the screen informing you as it was before the new 1.3 update.

Romance a character and wait for the event to fire.

Should be easy to replicate. The save I have attached is taken just as one such event fired.
