Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
After use the "Appoint as Republican Overseer" interaction, sometimes the vassal's succession law will change to republican law
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
1. grant Treviso to Ismail (internal ID: 16808190), use the interaction, the succession is still Confederate Partition
2. load save, grant the same land to Nana(internal ID: 53384), use the interaction, the law will be republican
3. load save, revoke the mayor of city vicenze, grant to Nana again, use the interaction, the law will be Partition
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
if the count do not have city, or do not have mayor, the law will not change at that moment, but will change next day
if the vassal is in Partition Law, it will change, if it is Confederate Partition, it wont.
seems it is beacause Confederate Partition = { can_keep = { always = yes },
but can_have_partition_succession_law_trigger requires fedual or clan
I have attached a save game
Yes
