Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Immediately after having created the kingdom of Aragon via the decision, a dissolution faction spawned to try and destroy the kingdom. This itself is not really the problem since the vassal that formed it was unhappy and of a different religion and culture.

However after the initial formation of the faction, the vast majority of vassals who were all of the same culture and religion as my character and on average had very positive opinion joined this faction en masse without any readily identifiable reason.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Start in 867 as the duchy of saraqustah. Wait for andalusia to be dissolved. form aragon (I did this by conquering all the optional areas that drift into the kingdom). Make sure one powerful vassal is angry and potentially of different religion. And then a dissolution faction should form after which literally everyone seems to want to join in on it.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I have attached a save game

In order to prevent a vassal from joining a faction, or to get them to leave a faction, they need to have a minimum of 80 opinion of you. Other ways of getting them out of factions exist as well:

Vassals cannot join a faction against a liege if they are underage, the liege's friend, lover or ally, the liege has a strong hook or truce with them or they have at least 80 opinion of the liege. If one of these requirements is met after a character joins a faction it will leave it.

Terrified vassals can only join factions while discontent is rising.

Oh yeah I am aware of that. The problem here is not that they won't go out of the faction. But rather that they join the faction despite having such super high opinion of me. There were many 50+ opinion vassals that just out of nowhere decided yeah we don't like this kingdom let's go destroy it. Especially when they are almost all dejure vassals.

This is just my observation while playing the game but 50+ does not feel super high at all. Anything under 80 and it is more like they tolerate you at best and are willing make absurd demands because of that. 80+ opinion is where they actually like you, mostly because the developers forced them like you at that point. Because they were under 80 opinion they join factions simply because they can. There is no other reason for it. The way opinions work in general is pretty simplistic and would probably need a pretty big overhaul in order to fix it.
