Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When releasing a prisoner who's family or spouse are "wanderers" - rather than leave your court to catch up with their family - they stay in your court as visitors.
Some strange and semi-exploitable behavior in relation to this. Maybe these are intended but its hard to say - in my case many of these prisoners were taken on crusade and therefor their home court both no longer exists (e.g. is now a part of the Kingdom of Jerusalem) and is out of diplo range.
If the families are wanderers - it would be cool to maybe see them wander to your court and seek out release of their spouse/child, vs gallivanting across the middle east without them
- A child will remain in your court as a visitor without their parents. Betrothal proposals are answered by the child - who you can get a hook on from releasing in prison. I've used this to great effect to betroth prisoners with good congenital traits without their parents say in it
- A married woman will hang out as a wanderer in your court while her husband is wandering elsewhere. I'm using the pin feature to keep an eye on them to see if they end up linking back up or if thats triggered by something such as being landed. If the married woman is going to stay in my court and has accepted turning to Catholicism - I should have the option to anull her marriage to her Muslim husband and instead have her marry locally and settle down (again, I'm just loving collecting these good traits for my family and vassals)
I don't think the answer here is black and white that requires a fix per se - but potentially a system that could use some more depth to allow for the creation of some more natural narratives. Like maybe it is completely valid that I've now taken this kidnapped child as my own to raise, but it's strange they don't seem to hate me for it! Or maybe it's valid for the woman to now think "yeah my husband will never find me all the way in Italy" and move on and convert to Catholicism to fit in - so it doesn't make sense why she would remain married to so-and-so who's wandering aimlessly around the Levant (and probably taking on secondary wives anyways!)
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Join a crusade, launch sieges, take prisoners. Release a prisoner who's family is now unlanded/wandering and they will stay in your court as a visitor, regardless of their age or marital status and spouse
