Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Was Wardeced by the HRE after forgetting the first rule of attacking the Pope (Never do it unless you can hire more mercs than he can) Tried to call ally France thanks to a Betrothal, only for it to say he won't because France won't go to war against a vassal or ally. Turns out the Emperor has married a landed duchess in France, and because calling her to war is the first thing, France won't step in. IMO when it comes to defensive wars, my alliance to her liege should trump her alliance to the attacker without having to be quicker on the call; If I was attacking HRE and her joining prevented France from coming in, that's OK; In fact, that's what happened during the Independence war, and I took it as Working as Intended.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Have one side in a war allied to the vassal of their target's ally, then call in that ally before the other said can call in the liege.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
