Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
My grandson and eventual player character is trapped visiting some court in another kingdom. I am unable to deduct why he got there. His mother was in another court. No marital issues or secrets found concerning the marriage. My new character exposed the mother's secret (adultery & incestous) and attempted to imprison. No relations with the characters at the court in question though. Why would she dump her children somewhere else?

Once I died I got the suggestion that my son and heir was lacking a guarding, but no guardian was able to be selected from my court when clicking it. No interaction is possible to get him to come back (until 16 obviously), apart from landing him.

Without my permission they engaged him to some courtier. My own family now hates me because I keep breaking the bethrotals.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Vassalize your son and heir. Marry him so he can have sons. Watch them leave.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Maybe the county was in an alliance I once had, but I doubt it.
