Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Situation:
Changing Gender Laws for example through reformation results in the game terminating all families affected. This does happen through patrilinear and matrilinear marriage that will end all succesions lines of families as the ai usually has marriages that only focus on the previous gender law.
Example:
If gender laws are changed and allow the daughter to inherit now the ai will almost certain have her on a patrilinear marriage and her children will not be of her house and thus end her succesion line. This happen for the complete region and all houses basically die and are replaced when the law is changed.
Solution:
When gender laws are changed there needs to be a one time check running through all marriages affected and change every marriage that would loose the existing or future family heir to another house to change from patrilinear to matrilinear or the other way.
So atleast future children would be able to inherit and the ai would not run willingly into their doom.
And/or the game should for the next succession favour heirs with children from your family over heirs with children from other families. For examply by an temporary succession law that allows you to choose between the old (before the law changed) and the new heir with the ai only choosing the new heir if the titles would remain in the family.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Changing Gender laws and continue the game to see the ai getting devastated.
