Short summary of your issue Gameplay - Infinite, impossible to win crusade

Game Version 1.0.3

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

Do you have mods enabled? No

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?
5

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The pope started a crusade against me, only attacker is the pope himself who has 0 holdings. Since the pope does not have an army or counties to occupy, I could do nothing but wait for the score to slowly go up to 97-99% at which point the crusade just reset to 0% and it started all over.

There is exactly 1 catholic county/count left in the world and he doesn't even participate in the crusade, why is the pope declaring one anyways? Doesn't make sense to me...
I tried to murder the pope in the hopes that it would end the crusade, but he just gets replaced immediatly. I think at some point the papacy should just not exist anymore.

UPDATE: I loaded my save this morning to continue playing and after a while suddenly the score jumped to 100 and I could enforce demands again. I still consider the behavior a bug, but at least it's resolved in my save ... for now.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Have a pope with 0 land and basically no catholic rulers left to join the crusade, I guess...

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
The file bugsave_infinitecrusade_0 is from just before the score reaches 97%, the file bugsave_infinitecrusade_1 is from when the score had reset to 0%. No matter how often I reload, it always happens at a different score between 97 and 99%.

I have attached a save game
Yes

Only thing I did was declare another war, maybe that triggered the crusade to end somehow? Idk
