Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Ever since 1.6.1.1, my game has randomly crashed soon after launching. I can only play about a minute before it takes me back to desktop. Have tried with and WITHOUT any mods but it makes no difference. I can load into my existing save, but if I try to create a new game it crashes just after I choose a start date. I can't even send a crash report, because the pop up itself is crashing too.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
It seems to be mostly triggered by clicking on a character to bring up their portrait screen. It also happened once whilst I was trying to arrange a marriage through the 'find spouse' menu. The game is unplayable without using these screens though. I have tried playing in a variety of ways (such as with speed 1 and speed 5), not selecting any options etc. but it still crashes.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Seems like a bunch of people are having the exact same issue. I have the whole expansion pass active, but no other DLC. The duck photo is because the website wouldn't let me not add an attachment btw.
