Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I died and my heir didn't inherit anything. This caused the game to be in a bugged state - I was still "playing" as the old ruler but did not have a royal court anymore because "you are dead" and my wives and council disappeared. As would be expected for a dead person. The UI glitched out - I had two notifications active when I died, I remember one being "you can sponsor an inspiration", and after my death they kept producing the animation and sound that occurs when they first happen - it seemed as if they appeared and disappeared repeatedly. I tried to quit to desktop through the menu, which triggered an autosave that never completes, causing the game to become unresponsive.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Have a primary heir that doesn't inherit anything, then die and save. In my case this happened because a royal court event (the one where your primary heir is found to be murdering drunk people at the pub) made one of my sons the designated heir. Later, I noticed that said son was really bad and disinherited them. Doing so did not, however, remove the "designated heir" status, nor could I do so myself since my crown authority was at 2. This locked me into an heir who is unable to inherit anything (I probably could have re-inherited them but I wanted to see what happens). Time went on and when I died of cancer, this bug occurred.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
The attached save game is what I found after all of this had occurred and I'd restarted the game. The state of the world is consistent with what would have happened after my death, so it seems the save occurred successfully before the game froze. I was playing on ironman so unfortunately there is no earlier save with the landless heir in place. The ruler I was playing at in that save is Maharaja Mereda of Maharastra, father of Amoghavarsha ii (dead people can't be found in the character finder)
