Playing as Jarl of Sjaelland, played for a bit until 889, now no matter how many times I restart from my save, the game crashes on 26 November, 889. The crash report also then fails to send.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
I haven't a clue I'm afraid - it happens every time I open my save though.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

Yes there was - got an idea?
Yes, but you'll think I'm joking. I'm not.

1.6.1 has a guaranteed crash that happens if you don't click and play through court events, so if (like me, and I guess like you) you tend to ignore that stuff, the game will repeatedly crash. They even mentioned it on the 1.6.1 dev diary.

So you either have to click through all those tedious events, or wait for a new patch.

Oh dear, that’s irritating! That makes some sense. Why they would go ahead with releasing that is beyond me - this issue wasn’t present in 1.60.1!

The court event does indeed seem to be the issue. After dealing with it, I was able to progress in the game. What's odd is that some court events have timed out properly without crashing. Good luck to the Paradox employee in charge of fixing this o_O
