Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I am unable to start the game as it crashes on the loading screen during initialising.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Starting the game on 1.6.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I have verified files, removed mods, deleted all previous save files, and started on a 'new game'. Have also deleted game and reinstalled, yet still unable to start the game. Upon reverting to the old version 1.5.1.1, game works perfectly.

Still not able to start the game after the 2 small patches.

Is there anyone who can help?

Have already done a clean uninstall, removing game files from Steam folder and Document folder, then re-installing. But the game still crashes on loading.
