Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I' ironmaning and was fabricating a hook on a ruler to force him to accept marriage. Scheme took 2 years. When it was 3 months away from completion, a decision appeared. 1 choice was "scheme gains court spies" or something like that, and another was "no immediate effect". I chose first, and suddenly my scheme was 2 years away again. There were no warnings that it will reset, and by the time this scheme finishes, girl that i want to marry will be most likely betrothed.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
