Confirmed CK III - CTD Upon Loading pre-1.3 Saves

I am afraid that 1.1.2 saves will not work properly with 1.3.0 version of the game. Only 1.2.2 version of the game should translate properly into 1.3.0 Corvus.

What I can suggest you is to port the game into 1.2.2 version first, saving the file and then booting 1.3.0 version and saving again. I cannot guarantee this will work correctly, but I hope it does!

My game crashes when loading. My save is 1.2.2, game version is 1.3.0.

Description of the error the same as OP's. To be precise: my game crashes before showing the map (I see the loading screen, a new tip), but there are the sounds indicating that it loaded.

Can you please upload the save file here for investigation?

I'm having the same issue. How do we port the game back to the previous version?

I'm afraid you can't port the game back once it's in the newest version.

Hmm, this one is crashing for me as well. I have logged a ticket into our database for investigation. For now I would recommend you playing on 1.2.2 (or whichever version is not crashing in your case) or equivalent!

I have a similar issue. I have 2 saved games at version 1.2.2. One of them I can play which is now saved as 1.3. The other keeps crashing before loading. IIRC this one I am having an issue with I started as a 1.1 game and had been updated previously.

Add your save files in the thread so I can add them to the ticket for better reproduction. Attach your zipped crash folders as well, please! @Josey Wales @Eisai2

For now please continue your Ironman saves in 1.2.2 version of the game for safety until this issue is resolved.
