Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Tried to load my game and it crashed after loading screen as on the picture. Tried anther 2 times, same thing happend. Iv sent a report and verified files on steam, still can load any saved games older than 1.7. Attached issue screenshoot, save , and files from crash folder.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
load the game, any save older than 1.7

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I can provide any screenshoots required to fix the problem.

Same thing happening to me. Was playing a 1.6 Ivar Campaign, no mods, and game has just updated to 1.7 this morning. Now anytime I resume it crashes to desktop

If you want to continue saves from 1.6.1.2 and you are using Steam, then you can roll back to that patch by following these instructions.

I am experiencing the same issue.
I'm seeing that this is widely reported, so I just want to add my info incase it is helpful.
Upon loading a save from the previous version, the game crashes.

My save is from version 1.6.1.2
My current game version is Bastion 1.7.0
My operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 19042)
I play on Steam.
I have no mods installed.

I'm currently deep into an ironman run where I've almost gotten some very large achievements including Frankokratia, Rise from the Ashes & Carolingian Consolidation.
This save file means a great deal to me. Please consider the fact that I registered on these forums to post this in aid to my legitimacy, not against it.

I just meet the same issue. I use Steam to play and every time I load the Ironman save game from the previous game version, it crashes. Please tell me how to fix this.
