Short summary of your issue
Commanders also act as knights in battles

Game Version
1.3.1 (Corvus)

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

Do you have mods enabled?
Yes

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
No

How much "pain" is this causing you?
3

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The game says a character can't be a Commander and a Knight at the same time. But, they can. I've had Knights in one army command other armies without trouble. Actually, when a character is both the army Commander and a Knight in the same army, they get kills from that battle (checked the battle summary).

I'm reporting this as a bug because the game says this shouldn't be happening.

I've tested this both with mods, and without any mods, across different saves. Same result.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
SCENARIO 1: Have a character command an army, and place them in that same army as a Knight. Engage in a battle. You'll see that the character gets kills (as in they get kills as a Knight, check the battle summary).

SCENARIO 2: Place a Knight in an army. You can still use that character as a Commander for a different army.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I have attached a save game

No

We reported the exact same bug/exploit within hours of each other haha. Well spotted.

Yep knights assigned as commanders of a different army will remain as knights in the first one. I've thrown in a save file right before a battle with instructions on how to replicate it too.

I think that the game's programming removes a knight if he is appointed commander of the army he is in, but due to an oversight by the programmers he can be appointed as commander of a completely different army without being removed.

All right, sounds good. Just wanted to clarify that Knights can actually be Commanders in the same army too. And, if you do that, they still get kills after the battle as a Knight. So, a Knight in an army can command both their own army, as well as other armies.

However, they'll only get kills in the army where they're acting as a Knight too. I'm assuming the game doesn't intend for Commanders to participate in a battle, as when you command as a Ruler, you don't get kills.

Should I add this detail to jogzy123's post, @NamelessTheSecond ?
