Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Manual saves that save to the cloud don't also save to the local CK3 folder. Most of them can be found in the steam userdata folder, but unless I copy and paste them to the local save folder, they aren't shown as being available to load ingame. However some saves have disappeared completely. For example, when I stopped playing, I manually saved in the year 1330 before exiting to desktop and autosave_exiting. However the latest save I can find is in 1243.
I believe it might have something to do with the update, since manual saves did show up when I first installed the game. I'm not sure how long they haven't been saving properly though, since I was mostly loading from the autosave_exit and only just noted the issue.
I opened the game again, let it run a few days and then manual saved and exit saved again, this time unticking the 'save to cloud' button. This time it did create a file locally. Originally, it did both, creating a local save and then backing it up on the cloud, but now, unless I direct it to, the game only backs up the file without creating one locally for the game to access.
It's not a major issue, but since I'm nearing the end of this run, any new game I play would overwrite those autosaves so it'd be nice to be able to reliably manually save the game.
