Game Version 1.1.2

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

Do you have mods enabled? No

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?
2

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Got a prisoner that I can ransom, I do the ransom request and he/his liege has money to pay, they accept the ransom, pop up for "ransom accepted" appears, no gold gets delivered to me. This happens quite often and totally randomly. Restarting the game does not fix it.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
No idea how to replicate it... I guess try to ransom a prisoner? :)

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I have attached a save game
Yes

Just to add to this can confirm that ransom is not being delivered properly. Took 12 prisoners on Crusade each valued at 300 gold, was lucky to get 1100 total cash. Just had another prisoner (different crusade) was offered 300 gold for and AI delivered 10 gold.

If you have the Stewardship perk "Golden Obligations", the cost of prisoners is falsely inflated. For one, I don't think any prisoner is worth 300 gold (Kings are 200, and Emperor Spouses are 250, neither of which you are going to get 12 of in a crusade, mostly you find mayors at 30 and Counts at 50). You are probably getting the intended amount (in all cases I see, the actual transaction makes sense- e.g. with GO, I might find a rando courtier saying they're worth ~200 gold, but I get 10). The cost is 100% based on their station, so it should never be anything weird.

This is just a UI bug like ZenthWolf points out. If you have the Golden Obligations perk it will show you 300 for every prisoner, despite not actually being the case. To recreate it you can look at the ransom of a prisoner with the Golden Obligations Perk selected, then remove all your perks, and look at the ransom and it'll be the correct value based on their station.

I had same problem and I'm positive it's because of the perk golden obligations being activated.

I found a workaround to collect all 300, everytime.

Instead of choosing 300 and ransom, choose favor and then it will pop up on the "You can demand payments" list and then you can collect the 300 when they have the full 300 to give.

You are most welcome.
