Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
My heir was in a normal marriage with a house and dynasty relative (cousin) and had children. Her father (my brother) created a cadet-branch of the dynasty. As expected, her house switched to her father's, however, so did all of my grand-children. A few years later she died and when my heir's second wife had a child, that one had my house. Caused problems because upon inheritance, my grandson took over, he had to establish his own cadet-branch in order to get head of household back (good news, got the achievement ). Also caused the original character's dynasty to slowly die out. The Uncle was a vassal of mine.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
I'm guessing you can console all of this into a scenario and then take control of the Uncle in my scenario, create a cadet-branch and see what happens to daughter's kids.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Save game stuck in the cloud and I can't get it out ... says its 0kb and won't load. Could the fact that she wasn't in my court, but rather her father's contribute to the issue? The kids were located in Lisboa, my court.
