Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When choosing a height towards the right of the height slider and then choosing the Giant perk, the height of the custom character decreases to a shorter (but still taller than standard) fixed height. Choosing the Giant perk first does not fix this.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Choose to create a custom character (any gender, any era as far as I can tell). Next, select "change appearance" and then "Customize Further." For maximum contrast, slide the height slider all the way to the right. Select "Finish Appearance." On the ride side of the screen in the "Traits" menu, select "Other Traits" and then scroll down the resulting menu to find the "Giant" perk. Note the height of the character prior to selecting "Giant." Select "Giant" and the character will decrease in height.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Creating multiple saves with a controlled character build will allow you to compare character heights on the main menu. Creating multiple saves of the same maximum height character with and without the "Giant" perk and having them marry a pre-existing or custom character of known height will facilitate comparison on the main menu. I have attached 4 saves with this in mind (note: character likenesses are not identical but the heights are for similarly tall individuals).
