Steam

Do you have mods enabled? No

Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?
7

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
My choosing a different sort of succession is causing all of my lower holdings to go to random people.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Change Empire of Scandinavian succession to "elective" watch as all lowest ranked settlements go to others. I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but if it IS a feature it is very poorly explained.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I was playing as Harald Fairhair to start, had reformed the faith. Had founded empire of Scandinavia. Alert to tell me I could change succession was ticked.

The upper image is WITH Scandinavian Elective. The latter one is not. Thank you very much for your time.
