Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The callous event (child_personality.1023) doesn't let me pick other potential personality traits. It ought to let me switch callous to compassionate or arrogant, but the option is bugged.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue


Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
The triggers for the missing options are
OR = {
has_trait = arrogant
has_trait = humble
}
and
OR = {
has_trait = compassionate
has_trait = sadistic
}
while every other similar trigger uses NOR instead. So yeah, if the kid is humble or arrogant, you can switch to or reconfirm arrogant, but they can't swap callous to arrogant. Seems like a typo to me.

My bet is this being the solution where devs thought previously players were given too much freedom in these and the child end up not having all three personality traits. Welcome to be proven wrong.
 
The issue is that this event is specifically different than the others. The NOR logic that the other personality events use addresses what you are talking about -- if the kid is already arrogant, you can't "double up" on arrogant to avoid getting one of the other traits. This version is the exact opposite. If you already have arrogant, you can "double up" all day, and you might even be able to be both arrogant and humble (not sure if adding the one removes the other), but you can't swap traits around if this is the first time you've seen that particular event.

I've tested that, it does nothing when you do that, you don't get humble and you don't lose arrogant either. Because those traits are set as "opposites", it shouldn't be possible under any circumstance to get both, even with bugged events.

So basically: currently, the event only shows the option to become arrogant if the child can't get the trait, either because the child is already humble, or because they're already arrogant.

Same for sadistic/compassionate.
