Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I had a child born with a lover that follows a religion that has the No Bastards doctrine and it will count as legit despite choosing to not legitimize.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Get a lover that follows a religion with the No Bastards doctrine (like Mandeaism) and have a child with her while being married to another. The legitimize event will pop up but he won't be a bastard.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I am married, but I slept with one of my vassals (duchess) and I got her pregnant; this happened long after I married. The secret was exposed and a few months later my bastard son was born. I had two options: legitimize or not. I chose not and my son came out with the Wild Oat trait, and not with the Bastard trait. I need to clarify that my lover follows the Mandeaism religion, and it has a doctrine that doesn't allow bastards. My religion is Catholicism and it allows bastards, but then he is not a bastard yet a rightful heir so why I even got the event to legitimize him? Child is at my lover's court but he will still inherit!
