Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
First of all I have chosen Wales as a starting country, understandably this is going to be hard to accomplish during the Viking invasion but I have made allies of France and Wessex, now the real issue is when I ask these factions (probably happen with any faction) to join a war and when going to attack an enemy army they will join me right up until my troops will engage, once my troops engage all the other "ally" armies immediately retreat without engaging, this has caused me to crashed out of 2 ironman games because I am then completely under powered after losing a 3k army because I engaged a 6k stack expecting another 7k stack of allys to join me. Please add in a forced target option or just let me control them entirely, its horrifying to see hours of progress lost because of the AI inability to follow me into battle (as an aside, I have only picked battles I know that our armies could win, we have always had a 5k advantage alongside superior troops so its not as if there was a true danger to lose for the AI to think about).

The save game file I have added doesnt show the issue as I have played on and unfortunately this is on ironman so wont let me save at the cause of the issue but if you were to declare war on another large faction and call in allies then you might get a chance to see it in action, I should still be allied with Wessex in the save.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Form a alliance, call them to arms, attempt to battle a large stack, watch them run away..

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
The only other thing I can think that might affect it is that all the battles happen in or around Wales and it might be AI pathing is not formatted correctly.

I have attached a save game
Yes
