The turd of a Pope decided to declare a crusade on me, and why? Because I made my own version of Christianity? So now I have a truckload of different armies landing in my territory. The thing is, they can never seem to decide on where they want to go. They get off boats, they get on boats, they decide to disembark here, then they change their mind, move over a waterway or two, and disembark over there instead. If it's due to my troop movements trying to get them where they land then the AI is effectively cheating. I'm four holdings away, I tell me troops to go to where their troops are disembarking, and they immediately go elsewhere as if they know what my destination will be when they should only be able to see one move at a time. This is absurd and it's really breaking battle strategy for no good reason.

Allies aren't much better. They run around all over the place, sometimes loosely following me, sometimes not. Their movements make little sense as well.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
