Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When on a crusade, the AI armies split (perhaps in preference of gathering supplies for their armies) and are massacred one by one by enemy forces who decide to join together in one big army - and maybe the enemy choose not to split because they are in their own territory. You end up watching a war with 20K enemy army stacks and literally a few allied "armies" of 1 or 2 persons running for their lives. They also don't help each other in battles even if they are close to it and in consequence they are slaughtered one by one.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Take part on a crusade, watch how it develops.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
When playing CK2 you can mainly see these epic clashes of big armies when crusading. It feels that the AI took a step down in smartness in CK3, where AI allies choose to split, AI enemies choose to join, and you can guess how it ends. I would also like to point out that when fighting a defensive or offensive war the AI allies sometimes prefer to be slaughtered after watching the player's army being decimated instead of jumping into battle for a slightly bigger chance of winning. They either jump in too late or not at all. This is not always the case but happens too often and also feels like a step down from CK2.

Edit2: attached another screenshot later in game.
I have attached a save game
