Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
After >150hrs of play time, this has only just started happening following today's 1.1.2 hotfix.

My child characters (when <6yrs old) are randomly leaving to visit other courts (vassals for the two so far, but may not be limited to vassals) and not returning. This locks me out of assigning them a guardian and therefore guiding their education. For my current ruler, this means 2 of their children including the 'spare' are out of education control.

There is no option to return them to your court within the interaction menu. They do not appear as a ward option on the 'educate child' menu, nor can they be assigned a guardian from the court they are visiting.

This is without mods in an Ironman run.

Note: this is a carryover save from before 1.1 patch (playthroughs take a while ok).

I am experiencing the same issue. My ruler's wife and 5 underaged children are visiting the court of the ruler's brother for a couple of years now.

Can confirm this still happens in 1.1.3. See the attached save file where the youngest son of Arpad Arpad is stuck in Keve, with both parents in Visegrad.

Same here. Both sons of my heir are stuck in Constantinople. They got teleported there from his wife in Britain while he was a Varangian. He returned home without them.
