Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Save games from previous patch (3.01) are not available to load. Meaning my campaign I was playing literally yesterday cannot be continued because the previous patch is not in the list of steam beta's

Not "available" ?
As in they are simply not there or as in you can select them, but the load button is greyed out ?
IF they are not there, then i suspect you had used a mod before, which you didnt use now and that mod has its own save games folder
and the saves are thus not available.

Could also be related to crashes at start problems others seem to experience again, which appears to be fixed by turning off the antivirus program
before start.

Either way, seems to me like a tech support issue.
