Wierd, from what I can see the tutorial button should be completely removed from the gui-file for that screen.
Could you follow these steps:
1, Right click "Crusader Kings II" in your Steam library.
2. Choose properties
3. Click the "LOCAL FILES" tab.
4. Click "BROWSE LOCAL FILES..."
5. Open the "interface" folder.
6. Upload a copy of the "frontend.gui" file (make sure to NOT copy "frontend.gfx" instead by mistake).
7. Go to the "C:\Users\<YourUserNameHere>\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\" folder.
8. Upload a copy of the "settings.txt" file.
You could also double check that any downloaded mods are disabled and go back to the "LOCAL FILES" tab in Steam and click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES..." to make sure that all files downloaded properly in the update.
