CK II suddenly crashes

I bought today Crusader Kings II in the Paradox website. I bought it with all the DLCs on a sale. But when I played it crashed everytime. Sometimes it crashed after 5 minutes playing, others after 30. I have EUIV and it runs perfect without any problem, also the game runs smooth without any problems. I use a Linux OS, the "elementary OS" ubuntu based. I played the demo in a windows partition I had before, and it runned without any problems. I have the nVidia official drivers, and I actually updated today. I tried to play it from the console, in order to get some information, the only I get when it crashes is:

At first I thought it might be caused by steam itself, because after crashing I had a "new item in my inventory" [I don't know if that are the appropiate words in english but I mean that little green envelope that appears in the superior part of the steam window when you have a new card and those]. But last time I tried I didn't had any new of that.

What, you prefer your crashes to be gradual? But yes, there are severe problems in the Linux build at the moment.

You say you updated the drivers, but the latest I see on the nVidia site is 340.46 ?

Also, make sure you are opted into the 2.2.0.4 beta in the Steam beta tab, which improves things if not 100% fixes them.

Ah, right. I got updated from the repos. But yes, I saw in the website there are the 340.46. I'll try to get and istall 'em and I'll check again!

OK. I tried with the 2.2.0.4 beta, but instead of crashing it froze. So I decided to update the drivers to 340. As that version didn't appear in any repo for me, I decided to download it from the official site. I installed and after it, they didn't work xD. Now have a very big issue with my drivers to solve. But while I'm trying to solve that problem. Any other thing [for the future] I can try to make my CKII work propperly?

The only other known thing in Linux is to restrict it to one thread. In Steam-CK2-properties-set launch options, paste in

-threads=1

Okay. The magic of computing. I had to reinstall my distro, and then I re-installed everything, too. Drivers, steam, CK II. Then I selected the CKII-beta, tried and... it works xD. I can say it is solved, maybe don't close the thread today, but if in a couple of days I say nothing I cand say it is completly solved.
